About This Site

Proceed at Your Own Risk
If you are unsure about this process, do not proceed. You are modifying the device firmware, and there is always a risk of bricking your device. We are not responsible for any damage caused during the update.
How to Install
Custom firmwares are installed the same way as official firmware updates. Follow the steps below to update your Echo Mini.
Update Steps
-
Unzip the downloaded file and copy the
HIFIECxxx.imgfile to the root directory of the Echo Mini's internal memory. - Safely eject the device from your computer.
- Restart your Echo Mini. The firmware upgrade will begin automatically.
Important Notes
- Remove the SD card from your Echo Mini before starting the firmware update.
- Since the update is extensive, the firmware upgrade will format the internal memory and Favorites list. It is strongly recommended to back up your songs before upgrading.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues during the update, try formatting the internal memory of the Echo Mini (not the SD card) and repeat the process from the beginning.
